Trash, composting, and small yard trash is collected by the City of Austin every Friday morning, and recycling occurs every other Friday. Yard trash that fits into the green compost bins will be picked up; large limbs will not.

Trash bins may be placed curbside the evening before collection and must be off the street no later than 8 pm on Friday. Trash bins must be stored in garages, out of sight from the street or neighboring properties.
