Davenport Rim Irrigation Begins Again on Monday, March 18, 2019

After a 3-month hiatus for wastewater cost management in our neighborhood, irrigation will begin again this coming Monday, March 18. For our new neighbors, irrigation generally occurs between 7 pm and 7am on Tuesday evenings, but may be altered at the discretion of our irrigation contractor.

There may be a brief period of testing for Brightview, our irrigation contractor, to make sure all the irrigation heads are working properly. If you find a problem with a broken head or insufficient watering of your grass and plants, please contact Melissa at Pioneer: melissa@pioneeraustin.com

Please note that Brightview will soon be inspecting lawns to determine whether any irrigation heads can be capped in areas where they are not needed, due to many yards with predominantly rocks. However, in no case should irrigation heads be capped where there are plants and trees that require water.

Also, this is a reminder that ideally, irrigation will not run when the ground has sufficient moisture for periods of time after it rains.
