Neighborhood resealing details, April 26 – May 3, 2019

Please note: This is a 7-day project, and management is trying to keep neighbor inconvenience to a minimum. Our neighborhood streets have not been resealed, restriped, or repaired in almost 3 years, and the result will be a cleaner, more vibrant thoroughfare in our neighborhood.

Please carefully read these details:

1. Power-washing (F, April 26):

  • Neighbors will be able to access their driveways and garages.

  • Trash and recycling trucks will operate as usual.

  • Postal service should not be affected.

  • School buses will be affected on April 30 – May 3. Parents should contact your school to request alternate pick-up and drop-off points.

  • Trash and recycling bins may be moved slightly during power-washing.

  • Please move empty bins inside your garage or driveway as soon as possible (or ask for a neighbor’s help), to facilitate drying of the pavement and fire lane areas

2. April 27, 28, 29:

No activity

3. Seal coating (T, April 30):

(Blue zone) Please move all vehicles* from scheduled work area by 8 am (see map provided, roughly south (uphill) of units 13 and 49 on west road and units 65 and 37 on east road, including Canonero entrance entrance). Remaining vehicles will be towed if owner cannot be found.

4. Fire lane striping (W, May 1):

Vehicles remain off street until 4 pm this day, or until safety cones are removed.

5. Seal coating (Th, May 2):

(Gray zone) Please move all vehicles* from scheduled work area by 8 am (see map provided, roughly north (downhill) of units 13 and 49 on west road and units 65 and 37 on east road, including mail hut and Waymaker Way main entrance). Remaining vehicles will be towed if owner cannot be found.

6. Fire lane striping (F, May 3):

Vehicles remain off street until 4 pm this day, or until safety cones are removed.

  • Vehicles removed before and during sealing and striping may be parked in guest parking lots within areas not scheduled for seal coating those days; on streets (other than fire lane sides) that are not scheduled for seal coating; or on Canonero Drive or Waymaker Way.

  • No irrigation will occur during the period of April 26 – May 3.

  • Do dot drive or walk on seal coated sections until 4 pm the day after sealing.

  • Walking access to homes that are being/have been sealed must be along the unsealed gutter areas in front of the units.

Important: On Friday, May 3, trash and recycling will take place as usual in the south (blue) zone. For residents in the north (gray) zone, trash and recycling trucks will be prohibited from that area. For owners in the gray zone, management will provide maintenance teams to move residents’ trash and recycling bins from in front of those units, between 4 pm and 7 pm on May 1. For residents in these units, please place your bins in front of your homes by 4 pm on Wednesday, May 1. Please mark your unit number on the bins with a marker or on a card taped to the bin. After trash and recycling pickup on Friday morning (May 3), maintenance teams will return bins back to the owners after 4 pm.

Association management regrets any inconvenience to our neighbors caused by this resealing/restriping process. Thank you for your patience!
