Major Fire in Bastrop County

At our Neighborhood meeting last week, the Board was proud to report that Davenport Rim is now a Firewise certified community. Our HOA has invested time and money to provide fire zone clearing of brush and combustible material in the greenbelt behind Units 1-27, and within our inner greenbelt.

There was a question during the meeting about why we should be a Firewise community. Here's is one of the reasons:

In response to the fire, officials have closed Texas 21 East at South Shore Lake Bastrop and Texas 21 East at FM 1441.
