Waste Collection Notice for 2/11/2022

Neighbors – the attached notice was just received today, and suggests that Austin Resource Recovery will not be picking up recyclable bins this week (tomorrow, February 11).

This makes no sense, since we have not had recyclable bins emptied for 3 weeks. Pioneer is looking into this and if it is true, they are trying to find out if we can get a special recyclable bin pickup for the neighborhood.

It is perhaps the safest option to leave your recyclable bin at the curb in case the notice below is incorrect. You will, of course, not be penalized for leaving it at the curb under these circumstances. We will update you as we receive more information.
